The Britt Music Festival in Jacksonville Oregon Under the Stars

The Britt Music Festival is celebrating it’s 47th year this summer. It is an outdoor summer performing arts venue. Britt presents dozens of summer concerts, featuring world-class artists in classical music, jazz, blues, folk, bluegrass, world, pop and country music. The outdoor setting is perfect for enjoying your favorite entertainers! Bring a blanket and a box dinner and make it a picnic.  There are lawn seating areas, outdoor chairs and benches to choose from.

The Britt Festival brings thousands of people to the small town of Jacksonville Oregon every year.  The town was founded in the 1860’s around a gold rush. It still holds much of it’s yester-year charm due to an active Historic Preservation Committee in the city.  Enjoy the outdoor seating at the Bella Union Restaurant or the more elegant dining at The Jacksonville Inn .  New to town is a great little burger place called Jasper’s Cafe .  You can’t miss any of them as they are all located within a block of each other on the 5 block long main street in town, California St.

It is a short walk to “Britt” as the locals call it,  from anywhere you might park.  If you prefer, the trolley runs on certain nights from overflow parking areas around town. The hot summer days spent at the lake or the river are ended perfectly with a trip to Britt and some fabulous music.  See you under the stars!
